MAGNETORHEOLOGICAL BLENDED CEMENT
& associated activation technologies:
Magnetorheological blended cement (MRBC) is a cement slurry or grout which contains tiny magnetic particles.
Under the application of a magnetic field, the liquid cement can be instantly converted from a liquid into a pseudo-solid.
By maintaining the magnetic field until the grout has set, MRBC acts as material which is effectively solid from the time of placement, eliminating the liquid state setting phase associated with conventional cement/grout.
